The following information explains in detail which data is collected when you visit our website and how we use this data.
Retention of general information
For technical reasons, data such as the following, which your internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider (so called server log files), is collected: – type and version of the browser you use – operating system – websites that linked you to our site (referrer URL) – websites that you visit – date and time of your visit – your Internet Protocol (IP) address. This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal information you may have provided, thereby making it impossible to connect it to any particular person. The data is used for statistical purposes in order to improve our website and services.
Retention and processing of personal data
We process the personal data that we receive from you within the scope of our business relationship: newsletter enrolment, inquiries through the contact form, E-Mail as well as telephone requests, personally disclosed information (business cards). We also process data that we have legitimately received from credit agencies, debtor registers and from publicly available sources such as commercial register, register of associations, land register, media. This personal data includes: your personal details (name, address, contact details, date of birth, place of birth etc.), identity verification data (such as identity card data) and authentication data (such as a sample signature), bank account data (account number, IBAN). In addition, this data may also include the following: order data (such as payment orders), advertising and sales data, documentation data (such as consulting records), register data, information from your electronic communication with us (such as apps, cookies, etc.)
Newsletter
Our website offers you the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter. The newsletter provides you periodically with information about our services. To receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address. We will review the email address you provide for the purpose of determining whether you are in fact the owner of the email address provided or whether the actual owner of said address is authorized to receive the newsletter. This serves to protect us in the event a third party improperly and without your knowledge makes use of your email address to subscribe to our newsletter. We will not collect any other data. The data thereby collected is used solely for the purpose of receiving our newsletter. No data is transferred to third parties. Nor is any of this information matched to any information that other components of our website may collect. You may cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. You will find additional details in the email confirming your subscription as well as in each newsletter.
For sending newsletters we use the program Eyepin (Eyepin GmbH, Billrothstraße 52, 1190 Wien). We have an agreement for data processing with that company. In case of any questions concerning the sending from newsletter please contact us (details at the end of this page).
Event registration
On our website you can register via registration form for the event of the Renowned Wineries of Burgenland. In this context, we record your contact details (title, first name, surname, address, telephone number, e-mail address, industry affiliation) in order to register you for the event and send you the information about the events of the Renowned Wineries of Burgenland by post and e-mail. The data you provide will be stored for this purpose. No data is transferred to third parties. Nor is any of this information matched to any information that other components of our website may collect.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies in order to recognize repeat use of our website by the same user/internet connection subscriber.
