Every year, Falstaff awards the best Burgenland wines made from white Burgundy varieties. The focus was on the fresh, classically developed wines from the 2019 vintage and the barrel-matured wines from 2018.

Andi Kollwentz’s Chardonnays are at the forefront. A triple success for Andi Kollwentz. He provides the trophy winners in all 3 Chardonnay categories.
Top ratings also for the Chardonnays from RWB colleagues Paul Achs, Albert Gesellmann, Clemens Reisner from the Hans Igler winery and Alex Leberl in the “Chardonnay 2018” category and for Paul Achs and Albert Gesellmann also in the “Chardonnay 2019” category.
